A car slowly stops and comes to a stop behind a long line of other vehicles waiting to cross the American-Mexican border. Then, a salesman sneaks in and around the parked cars, a heterosexual couple is seated and waiting their turn to cross. Cindy (Jenna Foxx), an American dynamic student, comes to pick up her boyfriend Matthew (Jack Hunter) on a surprise trip to Mexico for his anniversary. They remember their long weekend and that this was supposed to be the quickest way back home when suddenly a man in uniform knocks at their window. As Cindy rolls down the window, she notices another man circling around the car and making gestures. Before she could say anything, the man orders both her and her passenger to get out of the vehicle and follow him inside for some routine questions. Matthew raises his eyes to the man with confusion, while Cindy nervously accepts and opens the door - urging her boyfriend to cooperate.
