After receiving a heart transplant, Preston Gale (Levi Rhodes) experiences feelings he has never felt before. Preston desperately seeks to understand where these desires come from and tries to talk to the heart transplant therapist, Dr. Bowler, about the person whose heart he received. However, Dr. Bowler cannot share any information, but that doesn't mean Preston can't take a look at his file. Once Preston has the family contact of the donor, he contacts Jesse Blanchard (Kyle Connors) from the donor and arranges a meeting with him and his best friend AJ Frazier (Hoss Kado) to learn more about the donor.
